Cisco sells over $50bn each year. While most products are sold new through traditional Authorized Channels, Cisco Capital launched Cisco Excess, to sell at significant discounts, to reduce the size of their global excess inventory. This stock consists of inventory that still has a useful life, but with limited demand from its traditional Authorized Channels.

What exactly is Cisco Excess?

• All products sourced from Cisco’s Excess Used inventory are designated with a “–WS” at the end of the part number. They are the same products, but designated excess inventory.
• All products have a valid version of the operating software IOS and are relicensed by Cisco.
• All products are fully functional, although some may include minor cosmetic imperfections.
• All products are eligible for Smart Net Total Care (SNTC) support.
• All products come direct from Cisco and are free of counterfeit, parallel import or theft risk.
